When I created this goal, my fantasy was to be able to simply enter just my first name and all my websites would magically appear! Sort of like when you enter Martha, Angelina or Madonna. Turns out you have to actually be famous, well-renowned for something or pay a butt-load in advertising fees for that to happen…damn! So, I went the cheesey, cheater route. I used my full name (middle included) for Twitter, LinkedIn and when commenting in forums. Throw in a few blog entries and a newspaper article that was written about my blog and…ta da…my name appears on more than one page of google entries!
I’m not giving up on the entire dream, I am convinced that one day I will enter “Annette” and I will come up before Funicello and Bening!

[…] Google search my name & have at least 1 page of stuff […]
I am doing pretty well with this one. I guess I should be thankful that the spelling of my name my parents went with is the less common one and my name it self is unique. :-) Good luck with your single name goal.
Lol! That is what I do all the time. I sign up for hundreds of social media networks, and I also blog.
