After a long Winter, Spring will soon arrive. The sun will begin to shine and the flowers will start to bloom. It is time to make a plan as to how you are going to enjoy this change of season. Here are 19 Spring Bucket List ideas to get you started.

1. FLY A KITE
Flying a kite is a fun and relaxing way to spend a windy Spring day. So, turn off the television, put the Real Housewives of Wherever on hold and pick an open area to complete this Spring Bucket List goal.

2. WALK UNDER THE CHERRY BLOSSOMS
There are not many trees that can compete with the beauty of the cherry blossoms in the Spring. These beautiful blooming trees can be seen in many places around the world and the Telegraph article, Where to See Cherry Blossoms Around the World, gives you some of the best ideas.

3. HAVE A CHAMPAGE PICNIC
One year, my husband took me to the top of beautiful Mount Tamapalais in Northern California and proposed to me while having a Champagne picnic. So, this bucket list idea has special meaning to me and could create a memorable experience for you.

4. MAKE A BIRD FEEDER
Doesn’t having your morning cup of coffee by the open door while listening to the music of birds chirping, sound like the perfect forenoon? It’s even better when you have handcrafted the feeder that is attracting these musical creatures. The blog Dear Lizzy features this adorable and easy teacup bird feeder.

5. FEED THE DUCKS
Buy a loaf of fresh baked bread and share it with the little duckies. Even better, bring a little Double Cream Brie or Point Reyes Blue Cheese, so you can enjoy the bread too!

6. TAKE A SPONTANEOUS ROAD TRIP
Wake up one morning, pack an overnight bag, get in your car, put on your coolest sunglasses and drive in a aimless direction to a random destination. Spring Bucket List - Spontaneous Road Trip

7. PLANT AN HERB GARDEN
Parsley, oregano or rosemary? Plant whatever your taste buds enjoy and your future culinary masterpieces need. Then nurture your garden and watch it grow.

8. BAKE A PIE
Find an apricot, cherry or other in-season fruit tree to pick the bounty for a homemade pie. Bonus, if you take a piece on your Champagne picnic (#3).

Bring a little romance into your relationship by stepping outside, without the umbrella or a parka, in the rain and plant a juicy kiss on your partner.

11. TAKE A TANDEM BIKE RIDE
Enjoy the sun shining on your face while taking a tandem bike ride with one of your favorite friends.

What better way to celebrate spring than to do it by visiting a place with condensed plant life. See Conde Nast’s article, The World’s Most Beautiful Botanical Gardens and pick your favorite to visit.

Donate all of those cold weather clothes that you never even wore this past Winter and bring out the colorful Spring attire. Out with the old, in with the new!

16. RUN (OR WALK) A 5k
This is the perfect season for running, it is not too cold or too hot. Bonus if you find a mud run or other fun themed 5k to participate in.

While you are at your local farmer’s market (#15), pick out some of the prettiest flowers and make yourself a beautiful flower arrangement. You can either spice up you dinner table with your creation or lighten up a friends day.
